My favorite Lists of Mozilla Add-ons

Have you experienced browsing the net with nothing add-ons at all? We’ll I’m speaking of plugins, extensions, snap-ins, or various other vendor-specific names that personalize and hasten your browsing experience.

For me it is very useful since its part of my daily job for years in browsing many sites to search,getting its data and statistics and doing some link research and all of those SEO and link building task. There was one time, I was in the internet cafe and I feel so awkward to browse without my favorite add-ons. I can't able to work faster in a fast period of time. Right from that moment I downloaded it all :)

I just want to share to you guys some of my favorite plugins preferably mozilla add-ons since I'm comfortable using Firefox. Here's the list:


All-in-One Gestures

Do you like playing with your computer mouse? I love too! It's all in the mouse! This extension allows you to execute common commands using mouse gestures, rocker navigation, scroll wheel navigation and page scrolling.

Vertigo

What I am using before is the vertigo by Tee Yen Ng that allows you to add vertical tabs then I do like best this Tree Style Tab by SHIMODA Hiroshi that shows tab like a tree. I could able to recognize the parent tab and for me its more organize. You will able also to see the logo of the site you open.

Smart Bookmarks Bar

Since I love social media and I don't have enough places in my bookmarks bar. I usually put those sites I open almost everyday in my navigation toolbar. Smart Bookmarks Bar extension comes right here by hiding bookmarks names and only showing icons. Bookmark names will be displayed on mouse over.

Copy Links

I find these add-ons helpful when selecting many urls in doing Link research. This will allows you to copy multiple URLs in anchors to clipboard. Two options to copy URLs,


One is copy all URLs from link items (anchors)

1. highlight the selected links
2. right click and select (Copy all links)
3. and paste in the clipboard

Copy Link Name

When doing link research for your possible link partners, usually you will need to copy the anchor text highlighted. Instead of highlighting and control C, you can copies the name (source anchor) of a link. It is just a small extension that adds a context menu item to copy a link's source anchor.

1. mouse over the anchor text

3. click copy link name
4. and paste in the clipboard

ShowIP

Show the IP address (es) of the current page in the status bar. It also allows querying custom information services by IP (right mouse button) and hostname (left mouse button), like whois, netcraft. Additionally you can copy the IP address to the clipboard.
